The book review must to be written in French.
The book review must situate the work in its disciplinary field, specify the general treatise of the book (theoretical framework and methodology, quality of the writing and originality of the approach), the intended readership and its contribution regarding current knowledge. In addition to providing a brief summary, it must also state the major contributions and limitations of the book.
To maintain the critical nature of these reports, authors should not be in a conflict of interest that could taint the integrity of their judgment (e.g. a book written by a colleague).
The book review must be between 7,000 and 10,000 characters, including spaces. Long quotations from the text are to be avoided, as are too many references to other works.

All acronyms (CNRS, etc.) must be defined on their first occurrence.
Short quotations must be inserted in the text and enclosed in quotation marks. Quotations of more than four lines are to be detached in a separate paragraph, with a space before and after, and they must be enclosed in quotation marks. Passages omitted from citations will be indicated by three suspension points in square brackets […] and any additions or modifications must also be identified using square brackets.
Tables and figures inserted in the text must immediately follow the first paragraph where reference is made to them. They are to be identified using a short title and numbered in Arabic numerals. All figures must also be submitted in JPEG format with excellent resolution (300 dpi) in a separate document.
Regarding the use of photos and images, the author is fully responsible for obtaining the rights of reproduction if the author does not own the photo or the image. Additionally, authors must have permission to publish photos of people or private places.
All documents cited in the work must appear in the list of references. The bibliography must only include references cited in the text.
